Spill Response Training

Scope
This two hour course covers the legal obligations of spill response in line with the 2005 amendment of the Protection of the Environmental Operations Act. It develops practical skills in the safe handling of hazardous spills together with spill prevention using Dangerous Goods handling and storage practices as outlined in the new Chapter 6A in the OHS Regulation and Australian Standards.

Hazardous Substance Training

Scope
This training course covers the safe storage and handling of hazardous substances and dangerous goods. It is based on the regulatory regime which took effect in September 2006 (NSW).

Module 1: Awareness
(Who: suitable for all staff who handle chemicals and includes reading of MSDS)
