To supply, deliver and install aquatic silt curtain and innovative primary containment curtain to facilitate dredging operations in Port Kembla.

Project Summary

  • To facilitate dredging operations in Port Kembla, a rectangular zone was constructed using variable skirt depths to match the ocean bed contours to ensure minimal silt migration.
  • A reclamation zone was contained using 190m of silt curtain.
  • Manufacture was completed within 2 weeks and installation within one week to meet client requirements.
  • Installation and removal of all curtains was implemented. Installation to GPS specific anchoring points using 300kg anchors.
