Project Summary

- Canals running alongside industrial areas can contain a large volume of contaminants that should be blocked and managed.
- These canals can generate significant amount of water flow and hence ill designed and fabricated booms will not withstand the forces and malfunction.
- An Assise boom was successfully designed, manufactured and installed to meet the requirements of both the floating debris and the canal flow rate.
